flat upside down
Howdy! Whether you are visiting, new to our community or have lived here for years, we invite you to come and be a part of our church.  A&M Church of Christ is a church that is rich in Godly heritage and has a foundation that is nearly 100 years strong.

Our Vision:
Our vision is to Follow Jesus to Upside-Down Living.  When Christ is the Lord of our life, we do things that seem upside-down or counter-cultural to people who do not know God.  Things like: seeking God’s Kingdom first in our lives, loving our enemies, loving our neighbors as ourselves, giving thanks in all circumstances, being devoted to prayer, and so many more.  We want to follow Jesus with our lives and help others to know Him as well.  It is our desire to see people in our community put their trust in Jesus and we want to see people’s hearts set ablaze for the Kingdom of God.

What to Expect:

Sunday Morning Worship: On Sunday mornings, we have worship at 8:00am (during the school year) and 10:15am.  Our 8:00am worship is in our chapel.  Our 10:15am worship is in our worship center.  Our worship services are encouraging and uplifting, full of praise, prayer and teaching from the Word of God.  One of the central parts of each of our worship services is to share communion together.  For us the Lord’s Table is the high point of each service as we remember what Christ has done for us, as we celebrate His resurrection, and as we receive His grace abounding to us in fresh ways.

We think it is important for families to worship together.  Our children and youth are a part of our worship services each week.  We encourage you to use this as an opportunity to worship together as well as teach your children about the love of our God.  There is great value in generations of people worshiping together, and we have many generations together in our worship services each week.  We do realize that our youngest children have trouble being in a worship service for an extended period of time, so there is a staffed nursery for children 2 and under.  We also have “2-Time” for children who are two years old.  “2-Time” and the nursery are available during our 10:15 worship service.  Also during our 10:15 worship service, children who are younger than kindergarten are release before the sermon to a class of their own.  Your son or daughter is welcome to attend this class if they would like to.

Sunday Bible Classes:  At 9:15 we have Bible classes for everyone.  Our nursery is available for children two and under.  Classes for toddlers,  preschool, and lower elementary are located downstairs.  Classes for upper elementary, middle school, and high school are located upstairs.  Classes for adults are located in various rooms throughout our building.  All children, 6th grade and under, should check in at the children’s check-in table in the Great Hall.

Sunday Evenings:  On Sunday evenings, we have a Bible class at 6:00pm in the chapel.  During that time we also have a staffed nursery for children two and under, Bible Hour for children three to second grade, Kids Small Group for children third grade through sixth grade, Intersection (youth worship and Bible study) for students in seventh through twelfth grade, and various small group Bible studies for adults.

Wednesday Evenings:  On Wednesday evenings, we have classes for everyone starting at 7:00pm.  Children sixth grade and under should check-in at the children’s check-in table in the Great Hall.

College Students: Our church has a deep love for college students.  We began as a college church, and we continue to value the students who are a part of our church during their college years.  We invite all students from Texas A&M, Blinn, and other surrounding schools to be a part of our college ministry, AFC.  Our college students meet in the AFC Center on Sunday mornings at 9:15am and on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm.  Throughout each week of the school year, there are many other service, worship, and fellowship events.  For additional information about our college ministry visit: aggiesforchrist.org.
